Are my username and password case sensitive?
Usernames are not case sensitive, however passwords are case sensitive. Note: Your username will appear on the site if you are the winning bidder of an auction.
Why should I provide an e-mail address?
Bid4Assets utilizes communication via e-mail to send important information to you including updates on the status of your auctions, notification if you have been outbid on an auction and instructions on completing a transaction when you’re the winning bidder. The ability to receive e-mails regarding your Bid4Assets account is an important aspect to ensuring a positive auction experience. Please make sure we have a current, valid e-mail address on file for you by reviewing your user profile information in your My Account page.
How do I sign up for the alerts?
If you are a registered user, click on the My Profile link located on the left navigation bar of the My B4A section. After logging in, proceed to the auction alert page and make your selections. If you are not already registered, click here, and you will be prompted to sign up for our e-mail alert as part of the registration process.
I Signed up, but I’m not able to log into the site?
You must confirm your account and activate it before logging in. You should have received an e-mail message containing a link to Bid4Assets. Click on that link to automatically confirm and activate your account.
I’ve forgotten my username and/or password. How do I retrieve it?
To retrieve your password, click on your My Account page link from the site header and then Forgot your Login Info? link below the "Login" button. You will be prompted to provide either your e-mail address or user name. Once submitted, your password will be sent automatically. Please contact Support Services at [email protected] if you have additional questions.
How do I update my personal information once signed up?
For security reasons you must contact Support Services at [email protected] if you want to change the name on your account. You can update the other information you provided when you created your account in your My Account page through the My Profile link located on the left navigation bar. You will be prompted to login and then will be able to review and change your information. Note: Make sure you re-enter your password and click on the Submit button at the end of the process to ensure your changes are applied.
